Rand Paul’s Fillibuster

Wow, I can’t believe some of the things coming out of Rand Paul’s mouth there live on CSPAN.  Just kidding, yes I can.  You don’t grow up with Ron Paul as a father and not come away with deeply rooted ideas against tyranny.

I love that he is standing up for the constitution.  I love the anti-war statements he’s made.  He is covering a lot of ground.  Could you imagine having all that information at your fingertips to cover more than 12 hours of time?  I am impressed with the other senators who have come forward to help Rand.  Under no circumstances should the government be able to use drones against American’s overseas or on our soil without due process.
Rand Paul will make his own path in politics and this filibuster is the beginning of that. I am thankful he grew up in a home where patriotism and the Constitution  is at the utmost importance.  I feel like the questions that Senator Rand Paul brought up are legitimate and must be answered!
I have been against the drones since I learned of their existence.  I do not like the idea of killing people at cafes, weddings, or barbeques.  That’s cowardice and cruel.  We should never have “collateral damage” and to all you American’s who still think it’s a good idea to have this drone program here at home– well I just don’t know what to make of you or your kind.
I was very unhappy with Rand and his support for Mitt Romney during the election but I felt like he made up for that a little bit today.  He still has a long way to go but he’s done more to protect our constitution than any other senator on that floor!

The Fiscal Cliff and the Rising Cost of Milk

ABC News has been going on and on about  the so-called “fiscal cliff” we’re about to go over,  but many of us already know that we’ve done gone over that cliff and we’re about to hit rock bottom.
“It may be too late for a deal” says ABC News.  “Doubling the price of milk may push us over the ‘dairy cliff'” they claim.
An average gallon of milk cost about $3.50 to $3.99 and  if lawmakers can’t come up with a solution by January 1, 2013 we may have to pay twice that because the government will no longer give dairy farmers subsidies which will in turn force farmers to raise the price of milk!
Maybe the government should stop paying farmers to not to farm their land
If these so-called “leaders” cannot come up with a solution or at least a reasonable compromise by the “deadline” then they should all lose their pay for being incompetent!
In fact, we should start fixing our economy by cutting lawmakers pay first!  They are all overpaid and none of them deserve the money they’re receiving.   Lawmakers have been playing these political games that affect each and every one of our lives for far too long and we pay them way too much money to do it!  If we took away the lawmakers’ pay/benefits then maybe American’s wouldn’t have to pay so much more in taxes and perhaps we can put an end to these abusive threats year after year.
Competent lawmakers would demand that the spending for these unconstitutional wars end before cutting into social programs that help people in the United States.   We cannot afford the empire building that the United States has been involved in for more than ten years  and most of us are sick of paying for these unconstitutional wars.
I am sick and tired of hearing lawmakers call  Social Security an entitlement program when it is our money! It is a tax that we have literally been forced to pay year after year without any kind of representation!  This money is taken from us and then spent by our governmentDid you know that Social Security money is used to pay for services like foster care?
Who are these lawmakers hurting the most by playing their partisan games?  The poor and middle class– the people  who are already hurting! They are hurting seniors who worked their entire lives paying into a program that is supposed to help them when they got too old to work!
It’s time for our lawmakers to get real when it comes to taking our money.  Instead of cutting social programs that help  people here in the states it is time lawmakers cutting the spending for the unconstitutional wars our country is involved in and their own pay because they have proven that they are incompetent!

Cheating LYING Media

Can you say RIGGED?

RE: “Third party isn’t charm for Iowa voters” says Gazette and Rod Boshart

Seems to me that the only press third-party candidates can get in the mainstream media is negative. That’s too bad. I would like to know how the Gazette and Rod Boshart came up with the conclusion that Iowan’s aren’t interested in third-party candidates? Is the writer only asking party players? Why is the comment section closed on the “Third party isn’t charm for Iowa voters” story? Why isn’t there a poll available? Are both parties worried about their status? Where do Iowan’s really stand?

“Two is company and three generally is a crowd when it comes to presidential politics in Iowa” I would like to know how the Gazette and Rod Boshart decided that third-party candidates didn’t matter in this election. Who did they ask? I haven’t seen any third-party candidates in the polls! I haven’t seen any third-party candidates in any debates or in the news!

““If ever there was going to be a year when you’d think you would have a credible third-party candidate, it would have been this year because the political system, particularly at the federal level, seems so dysfunctional, yet we have not had that,” said Des Moines attorney Doug Gross, a 2002 gubernatorial candidate in Iowa who is active in Republican politics.””

My question is if Gary Johnson wasn’t a legitimate candidate then why did members of the Republican Party file a law suit to try to keep him off the ballot? Something isn’t adding up here! Gary Johnson is not only a legitimate candidate he is also a qualified candidate who appeared as such in the presidential primary debates!

Who is Gary Johnson?

This election has been made into a three ringed circus in the State of Iowa by the GOP and now we want our third-party candidate included in the news media and the national debates. “It’s not the fault of Iowan’s that the GOP broke the media’s trust during the caucus“. If people are unhappy with the results then they need to get involved!

Even though the majority of delegates sent to Tampa from Iowa were there to represent Ron Paul our own Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds wouldn’t mention his name at all during the Republican National Convention that aired live on CNN. Instead of letting the public hear from Ron Paul, Clint Eastwood was given an empty chair to speak to. The two-party system is broke and voting for either party isn’t going to fix it!

Thankfully, there are third-party candidates suing for the right to air time.

I would like to know how the Gazette and Rod Boshart came up with the conclusion that Iowan’s aren’t interested in third party candidates during this election cycle or any other election for that matter! According to the Secretary of State as of September 2012 active Republicans total: 620868, the active Democrats total: 602636, and the active No Party voters total: 666279. Have the active No Party voters been polled? Is the Gazette and the two-party system presuming that the No Party voters will go with one or the other? With all the social media technology there is no way that everyone will be convinced that the two-party system is the only way to go.

If the public were informed about these third parties there would no doubt be an increase in interest!

I have carefully vetted the candidates for congress during this election and I will be supporting Greg Hughes. No one has ever heard of him because the media doesn’t cover third-party candidates. If they give one third-party candidate any air time they have to give it to the rest of the third-party candidates. I would rather hear from all the candidates than hear the same three ads air over and over and over.

This media problem isn’t limited to presidential elections. Nope, this happens in every election. Not one word has been uttered about the Independent candidate for Congress, former candidate for Governor, Greg Hughes. is a factory worker who chairs the Iowa Child Support Advisory Committee to the Supreme Court that has been a family advocate for many years. Greg Hughes is the only candidate for congress talking about issues that are important to the Iowan’s I know. The people I’ve talked to are tired of attack ads between the two attorneys and their PACS that are constantly being aired on television. I want to hear about Greg Hughes and what direction he would take District 1 if he were elected to Congress.

Who is Greg Hughes?

I was one of the Ron Paul delegates who went all the way through the process up to the state level. I am not interested in either establishment candidate and now I am working tirelessly to get the word out about our alternatives. Yes, we have alternatives. A vote for these alternatives is a vote against the two-party trap.

Romney Supporters Fail to Remove Gary Johnson from Iowa Ballot UPDATED

Romney Supporters Fail to Remove Gary Johnson from Iowa Ballot UPDATED.

Will Ron Paul Endorse Mitt Romney?

I keep wondering, if Ron Paul is “not important” then why does the mainstream media keep pushing him to say he endorses their pick, Mitt Romney? It is highly unlikely Ron Paul will endorse Mitt Romney. He did not endorse McCain or Bush.

The mold was broke when Ron Paul was made! Rand, his son, is not him, and at this rate never will be able to fill his shoes!

I researched and researched and found that Ron Paul does not budge on issues on the wars. In 2008, he endorsed the Constitutional Presidential candidate, Chuck Baldwin, instead of John McCain. This made me feel better about him and all the work we put in to get him the nomination. I am looking forward to seeing what happens at the National Convention and if they don’t pick Ron Paul I look forward to seeing who he endorses! I hope he endorses Gary Johnson!

If Ron Paul doesn’t get the nomination ~ Plan B ~ Gary Johnson For the Cause of Liberty

Finally some answers and a voice of reason! I think that Ron Paul took these questions with ease and that there is no other candidate who gets grilled like the doctor. I love how he tiptoes all over the presidential nomination. Don’t want to jinx it you know! Just if we are betrayed by Ron Paul and he endorses Mitt Romney I want to make certain I have studied all the candidates before I vote.

If Ron Paul does get the nomination will Gary Johnson drop his bid for president? Wouldn’t that greatly improve the republican’s chances to beat Obama in November? I think it would. At this point there is a fine line between being republican and libertarian. I’ve seen these parties work in harmony with each other and good things can come from it but I just don’t see Romney beating Obama without them.

We already know that neither Mitt or Obama are interested in the cause of liberty and that they were both bought and paid for by special interests who don’t have our best interests at heart.

Time for a crash course on Gary Johnson. It’s never good to put all your eggs into one basket anyway.
I read this article and did a quiz from the article and found that I agree with Gary Johnson on 95% of the issues that are important to me.

I am an avid Ron Paul supporter and found that I agree with him on 89% of the issues important to me.

The way I see it is Gary Johnson is more likely to change the cabinet than Romney. I could see Gary giving Ron Paul a cabinet position of his choice. I would rather vote for anyone other than the lesser of the two evils! Gary Johnson being blacked out by the media and tirelessly doing Youtube interviews with hundreds of people across the country is impressive to me. He isn’t waging $10,000 bets on national television and he is engaged to be married so he doesn’t have a wife driving a Cadillac who’s never worked a day in her life.

As an average American who does use the internet and social media as a tool to gather my information I feel that in order to move towards the cause of liberty that we must be willing to work with others to ensure the strongest possibility of getting this done before another hundred years goes by. Independent voters must unite and decide- do we want another four years of bickering party politics or do we want a radical change?

Iowa’s State Convention June 15 & 16, 2012

Reflections from Iowa State Convention
I didn’t drive all the way to Des Moines for a “unity slate” made up by ONE PERSON who is for Mitt Romney, I drove there to stand up for America’s future and to support my candidate, Ron Paul, who is now officially Iowa’s winner for president in the upcoming election.

Iowa might seem to have a lot of different “winners” during this presidential election but the truth is Iowa is just a place where candidates test their messages. Every poll up to this point has been a straw poll and none of them decide the real winner of the state until the delegates are chosen through the grueling political process and State Convention. In the State Convention last weekend Ron Paul delegates dominated the convention floor and were able to secure delegates to go represent him in the National Convention.

Wild horses couldn’t keep me away from the State Convention in Des Moines, Iowa on June 15 & 16, where I was determined to go and help support the cause of liberty. With so many like minded people in attendance at the State Convention I am happy to report that we were successful in choosing liberty minded people to attend the National Convention in Tampa this year. The media is saying we have yet, another winner, when the truth is Ron Paul has always been a top tier candidate. Our media has been a huge problem because they have ignored Ron Paul from the beginning (late night comedian John Stewart did a great job of showing the disparity). Cable news networks have portrayed Mitt Romney as a Top Tier candidate since last August, even though he came in 7th place in the Iowa Straw Poll!

Democrats partied in a nearby hall last weekend at the Iowa Events Center in HyVee Hall, as if they’ve already won this Novembers’ election. In a hall nearby emotions ran high as the Republicans argued amongst themselves. Romney supporters pushed a “unity theme” that failed miserably and did anything but unify the party.
Romney supporters even got physical, in District 2, with Ron Paul backers. Though the chair later apologizes for his conduct some of us think that criminal charges should have been filed and that the chair person should be forced to step down. There is no excuse for what is taking place in this election and it is my hope that American’s see that they are being duped by the mainstream media.

Iowans have always been serious about choosing the nominee for President of the United States. Some of us carefully and diligently study the candidates. The caucus process was transparent and aside from the bullying by Romney supporters I feel good about the process and feel we did an outstanding job of representing the voters of Iowa in the selection of our delegates.

With that said, I won’t be boycotting participating in the presidential process just yet, but one thing is for certain, I won’t be exploited to support or endorse the lesser of the two evils. I will vote for Ron Paul, who I hope and pray does win the nomination!

The Presidential Race is Rigged with RUMney

After working for the last year to get the presidential candidate who most appealed to me on the Republican Ticket I have come to realize that my efforts are futile. The Republican Party does not want to “grow the party” nor do they want to attract the youth vote. There is no grassroots support for Romney on the ground and certainly no enthusiasm. Romney doesn’t give us anything but what we already got.

I have been voting for twenty years on establishment candidates and now see that my votes were nothing but a facade, a silly game and I really thought that somehow I made a difference. Boy was I wrong.

I have told many people that they can’t complain if they don’t vote but I am changing my mind on that! I refuse to compromise my principles to vote for the lesser of two evils and if others would do the same we could have changed the direction our country is going long ago. It’s too late for that though.

I wanted my kids to have a good future but there is no way that the “powers that be” will allow that. This was made clear last night and continues to be pumped out on the television set all day. If more people unplugged the television and got involved we would have less corruption but I think people are tired. I know I am.

Once this election is over and Obama wins instead of complaining at people who don’t vote I am going to start complaining to people who do. All it does is encourage corruption and I am not going to ever be exploited again.

I hope Ron Paul does takes the nomination but the LAME media and the Republican National Committee has already handed the ticket to Romney. See, Romney won’t win and nothing Ron Paul could say would get me to vote for him.

What do I hope for out of this? I hope that it’s exposed and that people understand they are being lied to. See, we picked Ron Paul but we were told we had to support Romney. That’s not how I understood the game to be played! Then again, we are dealing with Mitt Romney, once a bully always a bully.

Hey GOP Paul didn’t Steal Anything he Earned his Delegates!
