The Delegate Count… Who’s keeping track anyway?

***

I am a delegate from Linn County Iowa. I am a Ron Paul supporter and I feel like my candidate has been ignored since coming second in the Iowa Straw Poll on August 13, 2011.

I have seen Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, and Ron Paul in person. Of all the candidates, Ron Paul is the one that resonated with me. He made so much sense! He touched on almost all the issues that really matter to the average American.

I wonder if only radical pro-life people participate in the grueling platform process? Perhaps the average Republican is really pro-choice? All I know is the people that attended the platform committee I was at were people who are totally against abortion. They spent hours and hours debating life issues on March 10, 2012. I have a difficult time believing any true ‘pro-life’ person is comfortable with the establishments pick, pro-choice advocate, Mitt Romney.

During the platform committee it was made clear that the presidential nominee needed to be pro-life and support the pro-life agenda ‘from cradle to grave‘.

Are American’s shallow? Mitt Romney is probably the prettiest candidate in the running on the republican ticket but is he even a republican? I wonder if he’s even read the Constitution!

Our troops are Ron Paul’s top contributors!

The only true pro-American, pro-life, pro-liberty, conservative candidate in the running is Congressman Ron Paul. Ron Paul has rock star status! Ron Paul’s campaign has energized the youth vote. He relates to the average American. His support is swelling on the ground and the republican’s are still stuck on the frontrunner picked by the mainstream media!

While the mainstream media touts Mitt Romney as the “front runner”, Ron Paul supporters all over the country are taking over the Republican Party from within. Will there be a brokered convention? Chances of that happening are high.

The mainstream media is stuck in the rut with Romney.

If the true goal was to “beat Obama” than why are the establishment Republican’s running with someone who is parallel to Obama?

Democrats know Romney will be easy to beat.

Anyone paying attention knows that there is something fishy about this presidential nomination!

In Alabama ballot machines were unplugged and reset.

In Alaska the new GOP Chair prevailed victory for Ron Paul.

In Iowa, the GOP Chair, Matt Strawn, quit and AJ Spiker, a Ron Paul supporter, replaced him. Ron Paul supporters took positions of power within the states central committees.

In Louisiana, Ron Paul won the caucus but there isn’t any real media coverage.

Then there is Maine, need I say more?

The gig is up.

Romney is no different than Obama. If the Republican Party really wants to “beat Obama” then we need to elect Ron Paul.

The media has picked enough presidents. It’s the people’s turn to pick our president!
