New Hampshire “Live Free or Die” State Locks up Journalist Ademo Freeman aka Adam Mueller

Plea Offer – NH v Mueller Docket No 11-CR-1055

Live Free or Die? What kind of motto is that in a state that locks someone up for doing something we are guaranteed in the United States Constitution- Freedom of Press.

Adam Mueller is facing 21 years for reporting the truth about an incident in a New Hampshire High School. Adam is a journalist who was doing what journalists do. I appreciate Adam’s candid reporting.

I would think that our schools would rather have our children safe than worry about the reputation of a bunch of unbridled adults. Why aren’t these officials being held to a higher standard?

Adam has done a lot on a national scale to help common people root out bad officials and he should not be in jail for it. Free Ademo

In my opinion, it is treasonous to lock someone up for reporting the truth to the public! Imprisoning Adam Mueller is a waste of taxpayers money!

“A public official who is on duty and in a public space has no expectation of privacy. The First Circuit Court of Appeals has already ruled on this in Glik vs. Cunniff,” said Ian Freeman, co-host of the nationally syndicated radio show Free Talk Live. “The person who should face consequences is the officer who threw that poor kid into a table during lunch at the school cafeteria, not the journalist who reported about it.”

No police department is perfect but had we given anyone of our chiefs of police a fraction of the information that Adam has in New Hampshire – those cops would be fired or demoted! I agree with you- I would rather have insider Steve O’Konek than some outsider from Chicago!

Despite some issues stemming from the 2008 flood. I am so glad to live in CR. Where we have a PD though not perfect, (no one is) is doing a damn good job, imo. I hope the City manager and council pay no attention to the Civil Rights Commission order of preference of new police chiefs ( a cop from CHICAGO) a head of one of our own officers… GOOD GRIEF. That alone should make all Cedar Rapids citizens stand up and ask, what the hell are you all thinking.?

Choose Steve O’konnek. He knows the City. Choosing a Fire Chief from the dept has worked out well. A police chief would also.
